Hear what is really going on among your employees.
Sentio lets your employees tell you in their own words what works well and what is stuck. No questionnaire with answers thought up in advance, but open conversations that show which themes are in play and how people feel about them. So you know where to start, and later you see what your approach has changed.
A questionnaire measures what you think is going on
Whoever writes an employee survey chooses the topics and the answer options in advance. That also fixes what you can find out. What sits below the surface is rarely on the form.
Classic survey
Starts from assumptions
- Topics and answers are fixed in advance
- You get scores, but not the reason behind them
- What nobody foresaw never surfaces
Typical question “I am satisfied with internal communication.” Strongly disagree to strongly agree.
Sentio
Starts from an open question
- Employees decide for themselves what it is about
- A follow-up question brings out the story behind the first answer
- Themes and sentiment come from the answers, not from a list
Typical question “What is getting stuck? Think of a moment in the past few weeks when you thought: this should work better.”
Fully tailored, at your organisation's rhythm
You decide what to ask, whom to ask and how often. A single survey or a fixed rhythm, for the whole organisation or for one team: we shape the approach around what you want to know.
An example: three measurement moments, one line you can follow
The same open questions, asked at fixed moments to the same teams. So you see not only where you stand, but also what is moving.
- 1
Baseline
Today
What is going on today? Which themes come up spontaneously, and with what feeling? What works well and is better left untouched also comes into view.
Result: you know where to start, and where not to.
- 2
Follow-up
A few months later
Do your people notice anything of what you tackled? Which themes are shifting, which ones linger, and what is new?
Result: you adjust while it still makes a difference.
- 3
A steady pulse
Every six months or every year
The same questions at a fixed rhythm. You see the evolution in figures and in your people's own words, per team or per site.
Result: you notice shifts before they become a problem.
At other moments too
- Onboarding new colleagues
- Exit interviews
- After a reorganisation or a move
- After a training course
- Internal services such as HR, IT or facilities
- Well-being and workload
A conversation of a few minutes, not a form
-
Via a link or QR code
On a phone or computer, without an app and without a login. People without a PC or a work email join through a QR code in the canteen or on the noticeboard.
-
Speak or type
Everyone chooses what is easiest, in their own language. Available in 50+ languages.
-
It asks follow-up questions
A vague answer gets a targeted question, the way a good interviewer would ask it.
-
Only for your own people
With a private link and an access code the survey stays inside your organisation.
Hard to say. Sometimes I only hear things once they have already been decided.
Can you give an example of something you heard too late?
Themes, sentiment and how they evolve over time
- The themes that matter, ranked by how often they come up. Not the themes you thought up in advance.
- The sentiment per theme: where is the energy, where is the frustration?
- The story behind the figures: per theme a summary of what people say.
- Scores you know: eNPS and scale questions are simply part of the conversation.
- The evolution between your measurements, per team or per site.
- A report to share with management and team leaders, as a PDF.

People only speak freely when they know what happens with it
No name, no login
Taking part requires no account. Personal data that does turn up in an answer, such as an email address or phone number, is automatically made unreadable.
The voice is not kept
Sentio works with the text of the conversation. The audio itself is not stored.
In the EU, not for AI training
Answers are processed and stored in the EU, GDPR-compliant, and never used to train AI models.
You decide what is measured
Sentiment analysis can be switched off for your whole organisation at your request. Themes, scores and eNPS keep working as usual.
Frequently asked questions
How much time does it take from our employees?
A few minutes per measurement. They open a link or scan a QR code and start right away, at a moment that suits them.
We already run an employee survey. What does this add?
A survey tells you how people score on the topics you chose. Sentio tells you which topics they bring up themselves, and why. The two complement each other. You can also simply include your familiar score questions, such as the eNPS, in the conversation.
How anonymous is it?
No name or login is asked, and personal data in answers is automatically made unreadable. In the dashboard the answers appear without a name. In a small team someone can still be recognisable by what they say. So agree beforehand who reads the individual answers, and tell your employees.
Can employees without a PC or work email take part?
Yes. A QR code on a poster in the canteen, on the noticeboard or with the payslip is enough. The conversation runs on their own phone, without an app.
In which languages can the conversation take place?
In 50+ languages. Each employee chooses the language of the conversation. You get the themes and summaries in the language of your dashboard.
Who conducts the conversation?
An AI interviewer asks the questions you set in advance and follows up where an answer stays vague. The questions appear on screen; your employee answers by speaking or typing. What you do with the results is up to you.
Curious what a first measurement would show in your organisation?
You're live in ten minutes. See a demo or book a half-hour introduction.
